Review Policy
This Policy is in effect and is being finalized with legal counsel, so wording may change. It is part of the Terms of Service. Questions: support@3rdsp.co.
Version: review-policy-2026-10-v1-draft
Entity: THE3RDSPACE LLC, a Michigan limited liability company
1. Why we have reviews
Reviews on 3rdSpace are written by people about businesses they have dealt with, so that other people can decide where to go. They are worth reading only if they are honest and nobody can buy, hide or shape them. This Policy says how we keep it that way.
2. Who can write a review
- You need a 3rdSpace account with a verified phone number. There are no anonymous or guest reviews.
- One review per experience. An experience is one visit, one event, one booking or one conversation with a business.
- You cannot review a business you belong to, whether you own it, run it or work there.
- People who work at a similar business nearby can write reviews, but theirs are checked by 3rdSpace before they show, because a competitor's review is the kind most likely to be unfair.
3. Verified visits and "Did not visit"
- Verified visit. When our records show you were there, because your ticket was scanned, your booking was completed, your season pass was checked in or you joined a game at the venue, your review shows "Verified visit" with the month and year. You can write it for 14 days after the visit.
- Did not visit. You can also review a business you dealt with by phone, text, message or online, or an event or booking you did not attend. Those reviews show "Did not visit", and you can post one for the same business every 90 days.
- The overall rating counts every published review. Anyone can filter to see only verified visits.
4. What a review contains
A star rating from 1 to 5, a written review of at least 50 characters, the type of experience, and the date. You can add quick ratings and up to five photos. Your review is public and shows your first name and last initial, never your username, email or phone number.
Photos. Leave out other guests' faces. A photo that shows another guest, a child, private information or anything this Policy does not allow can be removed. A person under 18 cannot add photos to a review.
5. What is not allowed in a review
We remove a review, or part of it, that:
- is not about a real experience with that business, or was written by or for the business itself;
- comes from someone who belongs to the business, or from a competitor writing to harm it;
- was paid for, swapped or rewarded in any way;
- is spam, advertising or off topic;
- is hateful, sexual, threatening or harassing;
- shares someone's private information, such as a phone number, address or health details;
- breaks the law, or that a court has found to be unlawful.
A negative review is not a reason to remove a review. If a business disagrees with a review, it can post one public reply.
6. What businesses can and cannot do
- A business can reply once, publicly, to each review, and edit its reply.
- A business can ask every customer for a review, the same way for everyone.
- A business cannot hide, remove, edit or reorder reviews, and nobody at 3rdSpace does that for them.
- A business cannot pay, discount, reward or enter anyone in a prize draw for writing a review, and cannot ask only happy customers.
- A business cannot write reviews of itself, ask its staff, family or friends to, or post reviews of a competitor.
- A business cannot threaten, pressure or take legal action against a reviewer to get an honest review taken down.
7. What 3rdSpace does
- We never pay or reward anyone for a review or a rating, and never let one be bought.
- Every verified visit gets the same request to review, whatever happened during it. We never choose who to ask by how happy they seem.
- We show reviews newest first and never reorder them for a business.
- We do not edit reviews. We publish them, check the ones described in Section 2, and remove what breaks this Policy.
8. Reporting a review
Reports are coming soon. When they open, a business or a user will be able to report a review for a reason in Section 5, with any evidence. The review stays up while we look. We check our own records first, may ask the reviewer for proof, and decide within 7 days; each side may appeal once, and we decide an appeal within 14 days. Until then, email support@3rdsp.co.
Receipts. When reports open, a reviewer may be able to upload a receipt to show a visit. A receipt is seen only by 3rdSpace's moderators, card numbers are blurred when it is uploaded, and it is deleted once the review is settled or after 90 days, whichever comes first.
9. Legal requests
If you believe a review is defamatory or otherwise unlawful, email support@3rdsp.co with the review, what is wrong with it and why, and any court order. We do not decide who is right in a factual dispute between a reviewer and a business; we remove a review that a court has found unlawful, or that clearly breaks this Policy. A business can always reply publicly.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. The version above changes when we do.
